Right, so morning guys.
Me and Helen have done a day shift and now we are doing a night shift.
One o'clock in the morning.
It's got to be double time after twelve surely.
So we had a massive clean up as you can see again.
Well I didn't.
Jan and Helen have done all of this.
Games are flying out guys.
We have got to get down here to get the games.
Don't go buying expensive for the Christmas ones.
I know.
So we have had a little bit of a move around.
We have tackled the mountain of designer items.
Natalie has been in as well today.
So fab.
We had some customers come up from Rumley.
I have done a tree but it has all fallen off.
We will stick them up there I was thinking.
So yeah, this didn't have a pole so we are going to sell this for making Reeves a pound of branch or whatever.
Otherwise I would have put together less shoes to gain in.
We are so lucky.
Our customers look after us so much.
They know what we do.
They know we are doing it to help people.
They know we are doing it to make a stand.
We are fed up with people being ripped off left, right and centre.
And paying these ridiculous prices for everything.
And that is why we are doing it.
So you know how customers look after us.
These are all full of clothes.
We just had no time to go through them.
Yeah, so.
Coming to you now.
We have started having a go.
And we have got some stuff up there.
Helen has been putting these up.
It isn't a pound.
This is my design when I have got to get rid of our sign.
I am supposed to be having one put on the top of it.
So we have got lovely coats.
Beautiful coats.
All men's these.
Right, let's have a look.
Look, £10.
Ooh, leather.
£10 I think.
Yeah, £10.
These prices are not for people to buy, to sell on.
None of our prices are for people to sell on.
They are here to help people who are struggling in a dignified way.
Because people can't afford charity shops anymore.
People can't afford pre-mark.
People are coming in and saying, oh my God, pre-mark prices have gone up.
I can't afford it.
So, we do this to help with our running costs.
We don't take a wage.
We haven't claimed petrol as of yet.
So, you know, we get loads of volunteers.
Volunteers are as good as gold.
You know, I always say to the volunteers, take what you want.
We will pay a minimum price for it.
Because they are giving up their time and energy to do things like this.
So,
yeah, we are looking good.
We are getting there.
At least it is getting up on the rails now.
Because it has been on that... look at the ceiling.
I got 30 lights to go on the ceiling eventually.
It is metal it is, so we are not going to paint it.
I have got to put a bit more paint there.
I think this is a bit of a mess.
I have got to redo this bit.
But it took three good coats.
Thank you to Jan's husband, Kennan, for smashing him coats up when I was ill.
Because there is no way I could have done it that week.
And it was so much easier then for me to put the third coat on.
So, yeah, fab.
We have got a few leaks again.
But they were back and forth.
They were on the roof the other day.
Probably more sealant.
It is getting less and less now.
It is an old roof.
We know we are going to have it.
We are just grateful we have got the premises.
So, yeah, here we are on the night shift.
