No, it won't let me go anymore.
They've knocked a dent in it.
They've only taken three carfuls and they've knocked a dent in it already, so that's good.
Because you can see right by the window now.
So we should be back there by the end of the day.
I'm gonna have these two suitcases to take stuff back and forth.
But we've got a book, you see.
We've got a book and the book we write down two suitcases.
Value would have been probably five on these because that one isn't too good and that one's dirty.
So we probably would have made ten quid off that.
But I write down the book to say to use for the baby shower purposes to wheel stuff and cart stuff around.
So I've put a post up now about volunteers and some people might go Well, that's fine because if you don't fit in with us Right and our personality and my personality and the rest of the staff's personality.
That's fine Right, not everybody is gonna fit into the neurodivergent niche of working for Jayne's Baby Bank and that's absolutely fine You might be suited to a different charity shop to a different secondhand shop.
Okay, we do things a little bit differently But I'd rather you be aware of what we're expecting before you turn up Okay, because we're paying quite a big allowances now the other charity shops the other secondhand shops as far as I'm aware They don't pay you nothing.
I always broke them, but it's not.
That's a lovely little bottle isn't it?
They don't pay you nothing.
So I Don't know if you get a discount.
Let me know what you get.
Let me know if any of the other shops do anything for you But we're paying quite a lot now because we're paying the managers 20 pound an hour in store allowance And we're paying the volunteers 13 pound an hour in store allowance We are looking to take on staff But they're gonna be specific roles not to work in the shop roles.
I don't think Like grants manager things like that and you would need training, you know, because there's no point just employing anybody for do that and Stabbing in the dark.
I know charities that have employed people as grants managers and it's like literally They're not even bringing in while they're being paid a week.
Well, I'm not sure if the cars are back Right, I gotta go because we've got to get some of this stuff out now My mom's cooking dinner, but I'd rather so it is very direct about the volunteering But I'd rather you be aware like there's no point having a vintage clothes manager and then turning up in dirty taxi bottoms every day Yeah,
which I have to speak to somebody about if I've got a vintage clothes manager in a vintage clothes shop I want them to look the part
