Right, so this is my first load from england today - 8 Jun 2025 - (834 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
Right, so this is my first load from England today.
It's all good stuff, that little house to keep your dish brush in.
Lovely.
It's all good stuff, like, you know.
Lovely little box there.
You can see some antiques, see some bits and bobs.
You know, these go quite well.
Inks, if you can't use them, we either get something for the ink cartridge or they go quite well actually.
Online.
Anything from 10 to 15, but you've got to wait for them to sell.
Because it's until somebody wants one of those.
But yeah, look.
Brand new brines in boxes from our English friends.
You know.
There's loads.
Can't fit it in now.
I've got a second carful to get.
So, this is going to Caerphilly shop.
So Caerphilly shop will be well and truly full.
Environment.
The elf will turn up to sign us off and they'll be like, ah, how long have you been open?
And we'll be like, three days and three hours.
And they'll be like, you're full?
I'm like, yep.
Poplar.
Poplar girl.
What's that?
Oh, that's those people.
What are they called?
The unknown or the others or something.
Everybody likes them, don't they?
All the children like them.
I never hear of them.
Until they've started coming to us.
Triominoes.
Oh, a nice little basket to display stuff.
It's all good stuff, isn't it guys?
You know, and like I said, because the car is electric.
You know, I pay for the car.
Oh, lovely, vintage.
Advocado cool box.
Very nice.
We used to have a brown one like this, but bigger.
Picnic basket.
You know, you never need to buy new, do you guys?
What's this?
A globber.
What's a globber?
That's a globber.
Wow.
I have no idea what it's for, but it's a very interesting piece.
Cluedo.
This is why, this is why, yes, we might pull out something and I don't know, say, for example, this next item is worth £50 online.
Right, so say, I'm not sure if it's ivory.
No, it's a candle.
Right, so say that candle is worth £50 online.
It's obviously not.
But this is why we do 75% off, because we have so many people helping us now and we have so much stock given to us that we can do it like that.
You know, and then you buy it and you know that we've researched it and it could be worth up to £50.
You know, so you know you're getting a £50 item for 25%, for 75% of the price, don't you?
You know, because we're going to be opening Caerphilly Shop at 75% off because I'm going to do another week of it because Pontypool staff can't move.
Literally, can't move.
You know, like I say, it's all good stuff.
There's one of those knitting baskets in there.
Lampshades, it's like blooming fads.
There's loads in there though.
It just needs sorting, that's all it needs.
What else?
We've got puzzles.
I think that's a mirror.
I don't think it's a chopping board.
It's a mirror.
Or is this another ink?
Inks are very good and at the very least we get, is it £1.75 an ink even if we can't sell it?
I can't sell that for more than £1.75.
I'll get £1.75 in Tesco points to go and buy nappies with.
It all adds up, doesn't it guys?
It all adds up.
So, here we go.
A little plant pot.
Probably get a pound for him, look won't we?
You know, a little jug.
Jugs always go well.
Jugs always go well.
There's lots of little elephants in this one.
I think that's another one of those people.
Boop, boop, boop.
Look at one of those people.
Right, time off now.
Took a filly shop.
Plastic glasses.
Oh, that's nice.
Look at that.
I love an ombre.
I love an ombre.
Oh, I like that glass.
It's not glass, it's plastic.
If it was glass, I probably would have had that as a topping in the shops.
Oh, there's another gun.
Another one of those people.
It's all good stuff guys.
Look at the records we had the other day.
That's an Elvis Presley record, right?
But look at the records we had the other day.
And I went through them.
I was like, oh my God, if I see one more Beethoven Classic, Bloomin' and Sinatra.
I went through them.
They're like 50p to 3 pound 50 records, those ones, right?
It depends who's buying them.
Sometimes I get people in to buy five or six classical and sometimes I don't see anybody for classical records for years, right?
Literally.
And then right at the bottom of the pile, it was a signed Elvis Presley.
You know, I mean, that's the chance of taking it guys.
Like I said, this is a good contact that we've made here and they're moving closer to us.
So that's brilliant, that is.
Absolutely brilliant.
So yeah, I'm going to go and fill up my filly shop.
It's all good stuff, that little house to keep your dish brush in.
