So me and ellie were just thinking now, why don't - 9 May 2025 - (488 words) - Jaynes Baby Bank
So me and Ellie were just thinking now, why don't we do a mystery bag, a pink mystery bag, of books as well, because we've got tonnes of books.
One thing, I've got an abundance of is books, right?
Even Dawn said to the library staff, she's got more books than me over there.
And while we push the price up, somebody just paid £5 for a book now, a lovely book, a Man United collectible one, and they were over the moon with it.
So we were thinking, if you get any off cuts of stuff that we can laminate and turn into book markers as well, because the OAP's made these, look, and my mother laminated them, right?
So we're going to do a book bundle.
So we were thinking, murder, thriller, put it in genres, because we haven't done that with the Blind Date River book, which is one book, and the coffees and the sweets and stuff.
We've got... should we say mythical fiction?
I can't remember now.
Anyway, we've got one, two, three, four, five.
We're going to try classics, Jayne Austen, Three Men of the Bumble.
Who are they?
The Prince?
So we thought, actually, oh yeah, there's some nice ones in there, you know.
So we could do Sense and Sensibility, so that's the classic bundle.
Obviously it's not a mystery anymore, we just felt the surprise.
Look away now.
But we were thinking we could do some mystery bags of those as well, you know, and I think it's about six bucks for ten pounds.
So we're just looking for the pink bags that we've got the mystery bundles in.
We're down Bettis later, so if anybody wants to buy one and pick it up from Bettis, you can.
And there'll be no delivery charge, no postal charge, you'd only pay ten pounds for the bag.
If we can get them into your areas without you having to pay, we will.
Although I think that was the mythical fiction and we didn't have enough yet.
Check a potter in there, couldn't we?
Yeah, and we thought about writing mystery bags on these, because these are ones to be sold, but they look like parcels to go out, don't they?
But if we write mystery bag all over it, with a nice big fat Sharpie,
I've got about six M bags of Blackwood designer gear again.
Beautiful.
Beautiful guys.
Thank you so much for your donations.
Made me laugh the other day when they were on the website saying, oh, everybody's dropping their junk off at the shop.
We haven't got junk in our shop.
Maybe tell you something now.
We've got the good stuff.
Yeah, so what do you think, guys?
We're going to do six for a tenner, did we say, Ellie?
Six for a tenner and a bookmark.
And we're going to do them as a mystery bundle then.
